"Journeying together to share our Christian faith"

St Peter's Community

St Peter’s Church was built on its present site in 1968 to serve a parish stretching from the Bristol Road in the North, the railway line in the East, to Sheldon Manor in the West and Cepen Park South in the South.

We have about 160 members on our electoral roll and members of our congregation play an active part in the life of our community.

We recently completed a major extension to our church buildings with the addition of a purpose built church hall. The Hall is regularly used by a wide variety of groups, including a Playgroup, Brownies, Guides, St Peter's Music Group. We also have a number of other rooms within the church that allow us to accommodate groups from 6 to 100 people.

These rooms are available for hire on a regular basis or on single occasions. Please phone the Bookings Secretary on 01249 461 678 and leave a message, including your telephone number, so that the Bookings Secretary can contact you with more information about availability and charges.

St Peter's School

St Peter’s (Church of England Aided) Primary School is joined to the Church building.
The school is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School. The school has regular assemblies within the Church with the participation of our clergy. Being church aided we also contribute to the running of the school through involvement with the school's board of governors.
